David Beckham is on vacation after winning La Liga with his former club Real Madrid but he’s due to show up with the LA Galaxy soon.  A tentative date has been set at July 13th for him to first meet the rest of the Galaxy.  This will probably ensure that he does not play with the Galaxy until after the all-star break.  The World Series of Football could be his first time in a Galaxy jersey when the Galaxy take on former English champions Chelsea.

If this was the case it would make the Galaxy’s August 5th trip to BMO field Beckham’s first regular season match in Major League Soccer.
