The LA Galaxy recently picked up the rights to put Eddie Lewis into a Galaxy jersey. The Galaxy had the chance to use their top allocation spot on Cory Gibbs which the passed onto the Colorado Rapids and used the top spot to get Eddie Lewis.
Eddie Lewis is a California native who formerly played for Derby County, Leeds United, Preston North End, Fulham and the San Jose Clash. Lewis also has 80 caps and 10 goals for the US Men’s National team. The 34 year old midfielder will bring a lot of experience to the Galaxy.

It still won’t solve their dilemmas.
Probably not – but what will it take?
A vigorous and accomplished defender who can actually lead the back line. I’d hate to admit it, but a trade for Carlos Ruiz might be the key in all this drama. I was actually surprise Alexi Lalas didn’t make an official move on Carlos Bocanegra, who now plays for Stade Rennais, after Fulham released him on May 23. All in all, the LA Galaxy shouldn’t have traded Tyrone Marshall nor Chris Albright. But there is nothing they can do about that anymore. Entities learn from their past experiences, which is how each one becomes a lifelong educated learner.
