England Manger Steve McClaren is coming to the US to visit with David Beckham and apparently to judge the quality of Major League Soccer. Even though Beckham will likely miss the Thursday game vs DC United, McClaren will likely attend that game in Washington DC. He wants to visit with Alexi and Frank Yallop along with Beckham when he comes over.
Maybe Middlesbrough should have come over for a MLS pre-season tour to show him the quality we’ve got over here. Or he could ask just about any of the Mexican teams that entered SuperLiga.
