Galaxy look to make improvement for 2008

The Galaxy can’t continue the way their past two seasons have gone.  Twice missing the playoffs is bad enough, LA won’t stand for this a third consecutive year.

Injuries plagued the Galaxy this past season, but changes still need to be made.  The team has added Clint Mathis and replaced manager Frank Yallop with former Dutch international Ruud Gullit already this off season and more rumors are flying.

You may have heard that Andriy Shevchenko or Luis Figo were coming to the Galaxy next year.  Lalas recently denied rumors that Polish international Maciej Zurawski was coming to the Galaxy.  There are even more, may you’ve heard that Ronaldo would be playing in LA this year.  Some have said that Carlos Ruiz could be coming back to the Galaxy.

Most of these rumors will likely never be heard of again and nothing will ever come of them.  But that doesn’t mean that no one new will be showing up, and it could be a big name but who?  If I could bring any one current MLS (non DP) player to the Galaxy it would be Brian Ching.  Of course this is unlikely to happen because my say means absolutely nothing.

Who would you like to see the Galaxy pick up for the coming season?
