This is getting to be a recurring theme here recently.
Did someone just tip off the Galaxy that they are supposed to score more goals than their opponents? Really they must have thought the scoring system was much like golf.
On the morning of September 23rd the Galaxy had 4 wins all season long. That day they beat FC Dallas and since then they’ve beat the Kansas City Wizards, Columbus Crew and now Houston Dynamo. This has doubled their season win count in just a couple weeks time.
It now looks like the have an actual chance to get up into the playoffs. I haven’t done any research but I’d guess this would be the biggest comeback at the end of a season to make the playoffs. Does anybody know if there has been a bigger point deficit overcome to get into the playoffs in MLS history?
Today the Galaxy had to come from behind after former Galaxy striker Nate Jaqua put the Dynamo ahead in the first half. Carols Pavon and Galvin Glinton scored the Galaxy goals to get the much needed 3 points. How many more goals can Glinton get coming off the bench?
