There have been reports that the Iran national team would come to play a friendly with the LA Galaxy this summer. Some have said that Iran would not come unless they got a formal invitation from US Soccer which they have not yet received.
I read somewhere (can’t find it now) that the Galaxy have denied this friendly game vs. Iran.
I personally think the chances of this rumored game actually happening are very slim. What do you think, will the Galaxy see Iran on the field anytime this year?

i’m a dc area sportswriter trying to piece together a story on the players most effected by Beckham’s arrival…can anyone give me some background on the guys he displaced when he came to the club? surely someone lost some playing time, got traded, threw a fit, etc.
if there is one guy who has particularly gotten screwed over, that would be a cool story to report.
