More Non-News About Beckham

It seems anything that can put Beckham’s name in the story becomes news suddenly, and I have proof.

From Yahoo! Sports: Galaxy G Cannon feels road trip is perfect for Beckham

The headline alone should tell you, but go ahead read the whole story if you don’t believe me.

I took my son and my niece to Toronto to see Beckham play and was disappointed that he sat on the bench. I understand if he’s injured and it takes him some time to heal, but we were led to believe that he might play that Sunday evening. I hope he does heal soon and is able to play. Is it possible to get a couple of autographed photos’ so I could give to my neice and son to put a smile on their face for not seeing him play?

From everything I saw it was apparent that Beckham was not going to be playing in Toronto.

You still got to see an exciting game, didn’t you?

You really want an autographed photo of me? If you send me your address I’ll send you one, but I don’t understand why that would put a smile on anyones face :)

It’ll be nice to see Beckham play in the MLS. It’s just a shame he’s turned into this big hollywood superstar.

I’v been a lifelong Manchester United fan, so I appreciate what Beckham’s done but the wages he’s getting paid are ridiculus. He’s a good footballer not a great one. However he should be the best footballer in the U.S. right now because the standard is so much lower than in England or Spain. I would just love to see the U.S. get more world class players so more people take an interest in football like the rest of the world, and stop calling it soccer!

I personally would have liked to see Beckham move back to England, not to play for Man U however because we’v got Cristiano Ronaldo who is a GREAT player. C.R for world footballer of the year!!! Kaka close second. But to move to a team like Tottenham who I’m sure would have welcomed him with open arms.

I have a Beckham red number 7 shirt myself.

The money he’s getting isn’t just for his on field play. No one else can sell jerseys like that guy does, not even close…
